Siamese kittens are born
white and develop their color as they mature. The Siamese
cat breed is one of the most common and oldest of cat
breeds. Known for their blue eyes, large pointed ears,
pointed coat pattern (light body color with face, tail, ears
and paws a darker color), short coats, and slim build,
Siamese cats are also affectionate, social, playful,
intelligent, loyal and vocally inclined. The
Siamese's short coat requires little grooming while the
long-haired version is actually considered another breed - the
Balinese. Common Siamese health problems include tooth
decay as well as liver and heart disease. Following are
several videos of Siamese kittens.
