Persian kittens are
known for their gentle temperament, quiet disposition,
beautiful heavy coat, short legs, large head, smaller
ears and short muzzle. Persians are one of the
oldest and most popular of cat breeds and tend to be less
active and quieter than other breeds but are still
affectionate with their owners. The Persian cat's thick
fur requires daily grooming, regular bathing and occasional
clipping particularly around the hindquarters. Face
washing may be necessary due to tear
staining. Persian cats should be considered indoor
cats as their long coats can be problematic outside. Note
that Persians are prone to kidney problems and a discharge
from their tear ducts. Following are several videos of
Persian kittens.
